This course addresses concepts and techniques for data mining in large databases and includes statistical and algorithmic methods for clustering, classification, mining association rules, etc. The course contributes to the B-IT MSc program in "Life Science Informatics" and takes place at the B-IT center in Bonn (http://www.b-it-center.de/).

Please take care of the following regulations when handing in your solutions:
-Register online for the tutorial!
-Hand in your solutions during the lecture on the day mentioned on the exercise sheet! Solutions handed in later will not be accepted!
-Hand in your solutions in groups of exactly 3 persons. Solutions handed in by only one or two persons will not be corrected! Groups of 4 persons and more are not allowed!
-Be sure to download the correct exercise sheets for the Data Mining (B-IT) tutorials! The exercise sheets for the lecture held in Aachen are different!
